Vijay Hazare Trophy Winners List

The Vijay Hazare Trophy is a limited overs domestic cricket tournament, popularly known as the Ranji One-Day Trophy. It includes 38 teams from Ranji Trophy and is played in the same format 5 Elite Groups and 1 plate group.

This trophy was started back in 2002-03 under the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). And it was named after the legendary Indian cricketer, Vijay Hazare. Here’s a list of Vijay Hazare Trophy winners including the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022 winner.

Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021-2022 Winner

During the recent Vijay Hazare Trophy, Himachal Pradesh made history by winning over the strongest team (Tamil Nadu) in the tournament. A partnership between Himachal’s Shubham Arora, Amit Kumar and Rishi Dhawan made sure to leave no stone unturned.

Himachal Pradesh after winning the toss decided to field first. While Tamil Nadu set a target of 314* with their skipper Dinesh Karthik scoring 116 at 103 balls.

Shubham on the other side turned the game into a one-man-show with his performance. He made 136 and not out, backed by Amit (74) and Rishi Dhawan (42).

It was a historic day for the Himachal Pradesh cricket a fantastic final, as Himachal bagged their maiden Vijay Hazare Trophy and became season 2022 champions. Their skipper, Rishi Dhawan, became the highest run-getter (458* runs) and the highest wicket-taker (17 wickets) of the season.
