    WBBL 2015-2016: Sydney Thunder<\/h2>\n

    One of the two strongest teams from the Women’s Big Bash League winners list, Sydney Sixers and Sydney Thunder met in the final of the inaugural season of WBBL. It was a close match and Sydney Thunders chased the target of 116 runs in 19.3 overs. Meg Lanning was the highest run scorer of the season.     This year, the runners-up of the inaugural season came back prepared and defeated Perth Scorchers, blocking them to chase down their target of 125. Sydney Sixers enlisted themselves in the WBBL champions list, this season.<\/p>\n

    They won the final by 7 runs. And this time again, Meg Lanning was the highest run-scorer of the tournament.     Katherine Blunt and Sarah Aley jointly took 23 wickets this season.
