Ashes 2022 Venues
The venue for the Ashes 2021-2022 was confirmed in May 2021 by the Cricket Australia also known as CA. The venues that were decided on are

As the COVID-19 was at its peak again therefore Australia put restrictions for its limitations. Due to these restrictions the Perth Stadium was being doubted as the best place for the fifth Test in the late of November 2021. It was advised that everyone involved should take a 14 day quarantine for precaution which was also rolled to be impossible. The Perth Stadium was taken off the list for the fifth Test on 6 December 2021 and Bellerive Oval in Hobart was decided upon for the fifth Test to take place on 11 December 2021.
COVID-19 impact on England tour of Australia 2021-22
As COVID-19 was going strong during the time period of 2021-2022 still the Ashes series 2021-2022 took place. The COVID-19 pandemic did threaten to cancel or delay the series many times. However, complete safety measures were put in for the championship. It should be noted that the Ashes league 2020-2021 was actually cancelled because of the threat of COVID-19. The Australian government had put restrictions on international travel because of COVID-19 pandemic. Due to these travel restrictions, many players of the England team raised their voices that they would not take part in the league if their families could not come to Australia with them because of these restrictions. However, their concerns were heard and all the matters were resolved. In the second Test match, Pat Cummins who is the captain of the Australian team was forced to be isolated and sit out of the first day of the Test because he had contact with a person who was tested positive for COVID-19. Furthermore, Travis Head in the fourth Test was casted out of playing as he tested positive for COVID-19 on December 31, 2021. Due to these extreme conditions, extra players were added to the teams such as Josh Inglis, Mitchell Marsh and Nic Maddinson. The fourth Test was missed by many important staff members and official individuals. The coach of the English team Chris Silverwood and the ICC referee for the match David Boon was also casted out of the forth Test. As the England camp faced an outbreak of the virus, therefore, the coach of the English team Chris Silverwood and his family were forced into isolation for preventive measures.

First Test Aus vs Eng Ashes 2022
The first Test of Australia VS England Ashes 2021-2022 took place from 8 December 2021 to 12 December 2021. Four matches were held in this Test. The toss was won by the England team and they decided on batting first. However, after tea break, it started raining on day 1 of the test therefore no game was possible on the ground. Australia made 343 runs on the second day with a loss of 7 wickets and England only made about 58 runs. England made a comeback on the third day which proved fruitless as Australia showed a stronger game on the fourth day and bagged the Test by 9 wickets. England only 77 runs on the fourth day of the first Test with a total of 297 Test score at a loss of eight wickets.
Second Test England vs Australia 2021-2022
The second test for the England VS Australia series 2021-2022 was conducted from 16 December 2021 to 20 December 2021. It had a total of five matches. After winning the toss, the Australian team chose to bat first. Pat Cummins was held back from playing in the team and was forced to isolate even though he tested negative for the COVID-19 test. This was done because of the regulations that were made for public health by the South Australian government. The turn of the events for the Test was quite steady. Australia made 225 on the first day and 45 on the third day with a loss of two wickets. England made 17 runs in three days with a loss of two wickets. Root sustained an injury to his lower abdomen in the warm up games and he had to be cut out of the game on the fourth day. Stoles filled in place of Root as captain. However, England lost four wickets on the fourth day and only made 82 runs. However, Australia won the Test on the fifth day by 275 runs and the series score became 2-0.
Third Test Eng vs Aus 2021-2022
The third test of the England VS Australia series 2021-2022 took place from 26 December 2021 to 30th December 2021. It lasted for about three days. Australia decided to field after winning the toss for the Test. The England team replaced four players Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad, Olli Pope and Rory Burns replaced Mark Wood, Johnny Bairstow, Jack Leach and Zak Crawley. The Australian team also changed its captain to Pat Cummins and removed Micheal Neser and Jhye Richardson. Scott Boland also debuted in this Test. The first of the Test was heavy for England as they failed a lot and the Australian team made 61 runs at the cost of one wicket. On the second day, Australia made 51 runs whereas England made 31 runs with a loss of four wickets. The Test was won by Australia with an innings to save and 14 runs. England made about 68 runs which were the lowest since their first play in Australia since 1904. In the second innings of England, Boland took six wickets with only seven runs and for this he was awarded the Mullagh Medal.
Fourth Test Ashes Cricket 2021-2022
The fourth test series of the Ashes 2021-2022 took place on January 5 2022 to 9 January 2022. In this test, the Australian team decided to bat first after winning the toss for the test. A draw occurred in this game. However, the English team did come up at some point after going nine down. Australia made many mistakes in this game and then regretted it later on. They could not secure a run out and also dropped three catches. The test ended in a draw and Australia took 22 overs to make a solid comeback from its mistakes.
Fifth Test Australia vs England 2022
The fifth test for Australia VS England 2022 took place from 14 January 2022 to 18 January 2022. England made the decision to field after winning the toss for the fifth Test. Even though England had major success in the fourth Test of the series they were still unable to beat Australia in the fifth Test of the series. Australia won the series in three days by 146 runs.
