SLPL 2021-2022

After the latest Sri Lanka T20 league 2021, the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) confirmed that the LPL 2022 will be held from July and last till August. 

In this season, five teams similar to the Sri Lanka Cricket LPL 2021 will be taking part.

• Dambulla Giants
• Galle Gladiators
• Colombo Stars
• Jaffna Kings
• Kandy Warriors

And this Sri Lanka T20 Premier League 2021-2022 will take place in Colombo and Hambantota with a total of 24 matches.

3rd Edition of the Lanka Premier League 2022 will take place

The Lanka Premier League 2022 was supposed to happen in July. However, it was postponed due to the financial situation in Sri Lanka. And now, the LPL league 2022 will start on December 6. While the LPL 2022 final will happen on the 23rd of December. 

The tournament will have a total of 5 Sri Lanka Premier League teams with each team facing the other twice, in the league stage. And the LPL squad of each team will have 20 players including 6 foreigners. 

Currently, Jaffna Kings is the most successful team of the tournament in the LPL list. They won the Sri Lanka cricket LPL 2021. Let’s see who will win the LPL final this year.
