The Ashes league is played between two teams. The teams that are included in this league are England and Australia. They come head to head with each other in this tournament. Every two years, England and Australia host this league one by one. There are about five tests that take place in the Ashes league. The team which won the last Ashes titles will host the Ashes leagues and if the last league ended in a draw then the team who previously had the trophy will get to keep it and host the next event as well. Since the start of the series in 1887, there have been about 335 matches. Australia won about 136 matches, 91 matches came to a draw and England won about 108 matches.

The most runs in the series are occupied by Sir Don Bradman. He is a legendary cricketer. He made about 5028 run by playing 37 matches. Among all other batsman of the league, he has the record for the highest average which is about 89.78. The highest score in the Ashes league was also made by him in Leeds in 193, where he made 334 runs of 448 balls.
