Andre Russell is considered the biggest power hitter and is undoubtedly the most feared batsman. He joined IPL back in 2012 with Delhi Daredevils and is now part of the Kolkata Knight Riders since 2014. His presence in the KKR team is of huge importance with his highest individual strike of 177.88.

Russell has played a total of 98 IPL matches where he has scored 2035 runs with 10 fifties, 137 4s and 175 6s. Andre has taken 89 wickets in his IPL career so far. And KKR has invested INR 12 crores in retaining Andre for the IPL 2022 season.

2. Sunil Narine (Strike-rate: 162.70)

With the highest strike rate in IPL all seasons, Sunil Narine stands third on our list. Sunil has been part of the IPL league since 2012 and is playing for the KKR. He is their prominent opener that can handle the game very well. KKR spent INR 6 crores in retaining Narine for the IPL 2022.

He also has played 148 IPL matches so far and has scored 1025 runs including 4 fifties and 152 wickets. Sunil’s career bloomed to its peak when he joined KKR and has been their opening batsman since 2017. He was also an important part of the team during their two-time victories in 2012 and 2014. Sunil’s performance in 2018 was the best when he went on to score 357 runs in 16 matches at a strike rate of 189.89.

3. Moeen Ali (Strike rate: 165.92)

This England all-rounder though failed to mark his name in the national side, has been a successful opener for the RCB. In his debut IPL match, back in 2018, he scored 77 runs with a highest of 65 scores. Last year, Moeen was being picked by the CSK where he played in the top order and went on to score 357 runs which were the highest of his all IPL seasons.

Moeen has played a total of 34 IPL matches so far with 666 runs and 16 wickets. He made 4 fifties and has hit 42 sixers. CSK paid INR 8 crores to retain Moeen for the IPL 2022 league.

4. Rishabh Pant (Strike-rate: 162.69)

Following Moeen Ali, next on our list of highest strike rates in IPL history is Rishabh Pant with an individual strike rate of 162.69. Rishabh built his career from IPL with his debut season back in 2016. And within a short period, he rose to the peak of his fame. He’s among those names that come to your mind whenever they talk about IPL.

Rishabh’s also a prominent face of the Indian crickets team for the T20 format now. And Delhi Capitals has paid INR 16 crores to retain him for the 15th edition of the IPL. He has played 84 IPL matches so far with 2498 runs and an average of 35.18. His highest score is 128 so far. And he does have a century to his name.

5. Glenn Maxwell (Strike-rate: 161.13)

Last but not least, Glenn Maxwell is fifth on our list of best strike rates in IPL. He played his debut IPL season in 2012 for Delhi Daredevils and has been part of different teams since then. Recently, Glenn is being bought by the RCB team back in 2021 and the team has spent INR 11 crores to retain him in the IPL 2022 season.

Glenn has played 97 IPL matches so far with 2018 runs and 12 fifties. He took 22 wickets and smashed 166 sixers. His highest score was 95 in 2014 while he was playing for the Kings XI Punjab.
