In the QEA Trophy 2021-22, a total of six teams participated. This tournament was held from the 20th of October to the 29th of December, 2021. That means the Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2021 final was played on the 29th of December, 2021. We’ll discuss ahead between which teams it was played.
Anyways, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the fixtures for the Quaid-e-Azam trophy competition ahead of October. And then, the full schedule for the matches was announced in October.
Before the Quaid-e-Azam trophy final in 2021, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Central Punjab were the defending champions from the last season.
Quaid-Azam trophy match is a first-class domestic cricket sport, played in Pakistan. In the latest season of this competition, all matches of the first three rounds ended in a draw. However, the fourth round was the opposite, where Southern Punjab beat Northern by 10 wickets.
Then, the fifth round of this cricket league was a set of draws, as well. However, the sixth and seventh rounds of the Quaid-e-Azam Pakistan cricket tournament only had a single draw.
And finally, in the tenth and QEA trophy, Northern and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa ended as the top finishers. Later on, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won the Quaid Azam trophy final 2021 by 169 runs.

QEA Trophy 2021 Format
The Quaid-e-Azam cup 2021 was scheduled from 20 October to 29th of December, 2021. And a total of 30 matches were to be played in the league stage, before the Quaid Azam trophy final 2021. All these league-stage matches were 4-day games. And as a result six teams participated in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2021-2022 season.
Then, as per the championship format, the top two teams of the following cricket league will be playing in the final. During this competition, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Northern met in the finals which happened at the National Cricket Stadium, Karachi. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was declared the winner of the tournament with 169 runs.
However, if the first innings of both teams were not completed, then both of them would have been declared as the joint winners of the trophy.

Quaid-e-Azam Trophy Final 2021 Venues
The Quaid-e-Azam cup 2021 was scheduled to be played in Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Multan. And a total of seven cricket stadiums were selected for this purpose, namely:
- National Stadium
- SBP Sports Complex
- United Bank Limited Sports Complex
- Gaddafi Stadium
- Multan Cricket Stadium
- Iqbal Stadium
- National Bank of Pakistan Sports Complex
It was announced that all ten rounds of the league stage will be played in the above-mentioned venues.
QEA Trophy 2021/2022 Renowned Players
Though the Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2021-22 season didn’t see its squads at their full strength, as many of the stars from the competition were missing. It was mainly because the dates for the T20 World Cup 2021 were announced which was meant to happen from the 23th of October to the 14th of November, 2021 in UAE.
However, the Quaid-e-Azam trophy squads signed a lot of interesting players that year. Also, the Pakistan cricket stars were expected to be available after the World Cup.
Anyways, the stars of the sport that attended the tournament were Junaid Khan, Usman Shinwari, Fawad Alam, Sharjeel Khan, Shan Masood, Asad Shafiq, Ashfaq Ahmed, Azhar Ali, Bismillah Khan and Yasir Shah.
